On 17 January 2025, we disbursed our first round of school funds to a deserving pupil! Alexa Dadamo, a Grade 10 learner at Karos Akademie, a private school in Beaufort West, has been selected as the recipient of Lady Birds Educational Trust’s 2025 school funding.

Alexa has a single mother who works tirelessly at a local store to support the two of them. Without financial assistance, she would not have been able to re-enroll Alexa at Karos Akademie this year. This funding will allow Alexa to continue her education, giving her the opportunity to excel academically and pursue her dreams.

This initiative reflects Lady Birds Educational Trust’s commitment to supporting deserving students and ensuring access to quality education.​​
